11 years teaching experience
My name is Rachel and I have been a primary school teacher for 11 years. Teaching is my passion and I love nothing more than to see children learn and develop. The smile on a childs face when they grasp a new concept or learn a new skill is the most amazing thing and I am privileged to see that happen every day.

My career began at York St Johns University where I gained my BA Honours Degree in Primary Education. Since then I have worked in a local Infants School where my career has developed into reading, phonics and literacy leader and Deputy Headteacher.

In my spare time I love to be with my family. We love nothing more than a cosy afternoon in watching a film and eating popcorn! I have a husband called Richard, a beautiful baby boy called Chester and a 9 year old step son called Charlie. We live in our lovely little home in Knottingley.

I am a very kind and caring lady and make all learning experiences fun. I love to laugh and make my teaching enjoyable and interactive for young children. I have a proven history of good results and amazing progress and I truly believe that all children should have every opportunity to fulfil their protentional, regardless of individual needs and difficulties.

If you think I could help your child along their learning journey then please get in touch!

Love to you and your little one
